Convent Station NJ Rod's 1890's Ranch House Cocktail Parlour Postcard New Jersey
G.K. Gerard "Rod' Keller, also known as G.K., opened Rod's Ranch House in 1936. He purchased and restored two turn of the century Pullman Parlour Cars, and made them the centerpiece of the Rod's 1890's Ranch House restaurant. Rod's 1890's Ranch House quickly became a New Jersey icon. The Victorian ambiance with the splendid chandeliers, stained glass and antiques in the main part of the building are impressive, the "parlor cars" offer an intimate dining experience. In 1998, the establishment underwent a complete renovation and reinvention. The result: a legendary steakhouse for the new millennium - Rod's Steak and Seafood Grille. The bar scene is inviting allowing you to either relax or gather with your friends after work.
Koppel Color Cards (1954-1985) Hawthorne, NJ: A major publisher and printer of photochrome postcards. Identified by a K inside a sideways Diamond. The reverse side was usually done in green ink. The 5 or 6 digit number is Koppel's number in order of production.
Please review the photos carefully for condition and detail. Normal wear associated with an old postcard have creases, corner bumps, scratches, ink on the front etc.
