The forked radish is said to cure Daikoku-sama (one of the Seven Lucky Gods) from abdominal pain, and the mouse is said to be Daikoku-sama's messenger. Therefore, the figure of a forked radish and a rat is thought to represent Daikoku.

Daikoku refers to Gkokuhojo, a word that broadly refers to a rich harvest of crops such as grains. It's so cute to see a cute mouse chewing on a bale of rice.
