This beautiful handcrafted vintage Landert Fondue Pot is from the famous Swiss pottery brand Landert. The Landert pottery company was founded in 1929 by Heini Landert in Embrach, Kanton Zürich, Switzerland. It produced these Swiss Fondue pots until the company was closed in 2010.

This fondue pot has a shiny textured glaze around it in brown. It is in good vintage condition but it has some burn marks on the underside base. It also has a tiny chip on the handle which has been repaired with ceramic paint(see last photo). The Landert 22 stamp is on the bottom but it is slightly fading.

This fondue pot holds 2L of liquid which would be suitable for 4-6 people. Usually 200g of cheese per person is recommended for the fondue meal. And children usually eat less and it is a very filling meal.
