On offer, we have an original aquatint etching by Austrian artist Johnny Friedlaender. It is signed in pencil on the bottom "74/95" and "Friedlaender". There is a label on the back from an Italian art gallery that identifies this as "Rouge-Noir" and dating to "1961-2". That is also written at the top in pencil. On thick artist's paper, this measures 29 1/2" X 22" with the image 20 3/4" X 17".
The print is clean, clear, bright and bold. The margins have light foxing at the bottom with wear and tears on the edges. This has been handled and has some wrinkles. As I am not an expert on art, please view my photographs for more description.
