GIRAFFE and CALF
is the title of the Bing & Grondahl (B&G) 2009 Mothers Day Plate. It features a Mother Giraffe watching over her Calf. The scene is embossed on Danish porcelain and hand painted in traditional Copenhagen blue under the glaze. Designed by Finn Clausen. Pierced foot for hanging wire. Appropriately marked on the back, including the three tower trademark of Bing & Grondahl. Diameter approximately 6 inches.
