2008 marks the 100 years anniversary of Australia Rugby League. It was a huge build up right from the beginning of the season, and peaked at the official announcement of “100 Greatest players of All time”, the “Team of The Century” and the ultimate honour of the “Immortals”.

To celebrate this great milestone, Select Australia had released a special edition trading card series—"2008 Centenary of Rugby League”. 10,000 boxes released.

This special edition is dedicated to salute the past, celebrate the present and inspire the future. The 199 base card set includes 100 greatest players of the past 100 years, plus 80 current NRL stars + 16 Logos;

The chase cards sets focus on those “ Team of The Century” Immortals” and “ Past Heroes”. As such, this NRL Centenary Card collection has become arguably the most collectable NRL trading cards series to date. 

TEAM OF THE CENTURY is a 18-card subset inserted in the packs at 1: 12 packs. It is the Official TEAM OF THE CENTURY announced by NRL in 2008.  A highly collectable set.
