Offered here is a very nice Leica 65mm F3.5 Leica Elmar complete with focusing mount OTZFO /16464. This lens is thought by many experts to be among the sharpest lenses made by Leica. The lens is a fabulous macro or close-up lens. It performs well on film or digital. The optical construction is 4 elements in 3 groups. It has a pre-set diaphragm with an aperture range of F3.5 to F22. The filter size is E41. This classic Elmar design was made in Canada for use with the Visoflex II and III. The focal length of 65mm was the shortest that could be focused at infinity with the Visoflex. There is no focusing scale because focusing is done either on the ground glass or live view through the lens. When the lens is mounted in the OTZFO focusing mount and on a Visoflex it will focus from infinity down to 0.33 meters or 13 inches. There are a number of extension tubes and other devices made to allow it to focus even closer. This lens includes its original front lens cap. Why not add this fun and useful lens to your kit today.
