Details: A gas regulator controls the gas flow to your gas detector or analyzer and also reduces the pressure from a compressed reference gas or calibration gas bottle (which is at a high pressure and compressed to fit a large amount of gas in a small volume of space). A gas regulator allows one to control the gas flow to your instrument for proper and safe calibration.
