Description and Item Information
Up for sale is this antique Panama California art pottery vase. Please excuse the glare in the photos. The exterior of this handled Rebekah vase has a glossy glaze in blended/striped dark cobalt blue and brown; the interior is yellow with blue and brown drips and spots. It stands approximately 11 3/8 inches tall, and it is about 8 inches long and 6 1/2 inches wide. Unpacked, this heavy pot weighs approximately 5 pounds 14.6 ounces. This would be a good addition to a collection of California art pottery.
Identification
This unsigned vase is circa 1920s Panama pottery from Sacramento, California. Panama produced artware and utilitarian ware as a northern California competitor to southern California potteries such as Bauer, Catalina, and Pacific.
Condition This pot looks very good overall, with minor wear. There are no chips or cracks. There is unstained glaze crazing. There are scattered scratches here or there, with more scratches around the sides of the foot. Some excess glaze was ground from the foot, as made. Also as made, there are variations in glaze application, and there are some tiny dimples. Please review the description and photos, and ask any necessary questions prior to bidding or buying.

1. Payments
Taxes may be applicable. The correct shipping address must be included with payment. Contact the seller before bidding or buying to find out about acceptable payment methods for local pickups or deliveries. Payments must be received within three days of the end of the listing, unless prior arrangements have been made.
2. Shipping
Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not necessarily included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller usually ships on Mondays and Thursdays. The merchandise will normally be shipped on the seller's next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier.
Shipping includes delivery to a physical address via a method of the seller's choice. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping costs may be required. At the seller's discretion, a signature may be required for delivery.
Shipping quotes must be requested prior to all international bidding or buying. For international shipping, there may be parcel size restrictions or prohibitions on certain classes of merchandise. Customs forms will not be falsified.
International buyers, please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when the item is picked up; do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. The seller does not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as gifts. U.S. and international government regulations prohibit such behavior.
