Here, we have an original handwritten manuscript by Georges Ohnet (1848-1918). The 3 pages are titled "Pain de Guerre" and signed by the author. It is written in black ink in French. To my knowledge, this was never published. The pages come in a thin blue paper folio with a label #409". The pages measure 8 1/4" X 5 3/8". 
   Yes, this is authentic. It was inspected and researched by my antiquarian book seller. He dates this to the 19th century.
    This is in excellent antique condition. The writing is bold and clear. Page 1 has a small hole, but the paper is still there. The pages have been folded and handled. They have a few light wrinkles. The blue paper folio, or cover, is very toned and worn. Please view my photographs for more description.
