The Rockwell International Corporation
today announced that it would consolidate its commercial electronics and
military electronics divisions into a single unit to be called the electronics
operation.
Kent M. Black, president of commercial electronics since 1981, will head the new division. Donald J. Yockey, president of the military electronics operations, has been elected senior vice president and will serve as a special assistant to Donald R. Beall, president and chief operating officer, until Mr. Yockey's retirement in 1988.
