MARGARET WINIFRED TARRANT was born in 1888, daughter of the successful painter and illustrator Percy Tarrant. In 1920 she egan working regularly for the Medici Society, and in 1923 illustrated "The Flower Fairies", the first in a popular series of books. She died in 1959, leaving her evocative visions of make-believe for generations of both children and adults to enjoy.

So each page has one of those tissue like/a bit waxy like protective sheets and will sandwich a photograph between them and have the tissue sheet fall over it to protect it. It is a bit delicate. So while presently it is in good shape expect that a 7-10 year old will certainly close the pages quickly and fold the protective sheet.
