It allows you to “geotag” your pictures with valuable information such as latitude, longitude, altitude and UTC (Coordinated Univeral Time). While the camera cables enable to can be used for single shot and long exposure. It comes with 2 cables for different Nikon models and with wired remote controller.

When the device is connected to the camera and the GPS position is successfully located, the GPS data (longitude, latitude, altitude and shooting time) are stored in the EXIF data of the photos.

The device has a highly sensitive antenna and the current SiRF IV GPS chipset.
