The Ultra Shine Limescale Tap Filter from Ultra Soft could be exactly what you are looking for. The filter works by dosing your water with Polyphosphate, a specialist media which coats the hardness forming molecules (like Calcium and Magnesium) to reduce their chance of precipitating or forming a hard scale. The tap filter is designed to last for approximately 30,000L and can easily be refilled by unscrewing the head from the unit, before topping it up with more Polyphosphate crystals. This helps to reduce plastic waste and reduces ongoing running costs with refill packs available in either single (160g) or double (320g) using the drop down list.

The filter is supplied as a kit to allow you to fit it directly to your outdoor tap, with a hose-lock fitting on the bottom of the filter so it can be easily attached to your garden hose. O-Rings are also supplied as standard, to provide a positive seal.
