Osmo Country Colour is opaque satin finish for use throughout the garden and home. It is a versatile, paint-like oil which is perfect for a variety of projects. The deep, rich colour hides the natural colour and grain of the wood, but the natural feel and texture will remain. Osmo Country Colour is the true opaque.

Ingredients

Based on natural plant oils (sunflower oil, soya oil, thistle oil and linseed oil), siccatives (drying agents) and additives, biocidal active ingredient: Propiconazole. Dearomatized white spirit (benzene-free).

 

Preparation:

Wood surface must be clean, dry and frost-free (moisture content max. 20%).

Ready to use oil. Do not thin. Stir well before use.

If you can, please apply the first coat to all sides before installation.

Clean old microporous stains thoroughly, and remove old paints and lacquers.

We recommend wearing a dust mask during sanding.

Please conduct a trial application. The finished surface can be influenced by the condition of the wood.

Pre-treat the wood with Osmo WR Base Coat if you need additional protection against blue stain, rot and insects.

Application:

Use Osmo Soft Tip Brush or Osmo Premium Roller.

Apply thinly, ensuring spread is even.

Allow to dry for approx. 10-12 hours under good ventilation.

Apply a second coat - also thinly.

For renovation works, one coat will usually be sufficient.
