Definition of terms:

BacksetThe distance from the edge of the door to the center of the lock hole (typical 2-3/8" or 2-3/4")
Single Cylinder DeadboltKeyed lock on outside of door and knob on inside.
Double Cylinder DeadboltKeyed lock on both outside and inside of door.
Left Hand DoorWhen facing the outside of the door the hinges are on your left.
Right Hand DoorWhen facing the outside of the door the hinges are on your right.
Keyed EntryKnob or handle can be locked with a key
DeadboltSeparate lock in addition to a knob or handle.
PrivacyCan be locked from the inside only. No keys. (for bathrooms and bedrooms).
PassageCannot be locked (for halls and closets).
DummyKnob only. Does not turn. (for inactive half of french doors).
