   A rare California Midwinter Exposition trinket box with advertising for the Esterbrook Pen Company in Colorado. Decorated with ornate designs and originally plated in silver. The top reads “California 1894 Exposition” and R. Esterbrook Co. Colorado No. 2”. It seems this was made with an actual Esterbrook pen nib. The box is 5/8” deep inside and measures 1-1/2” wide x 4-1/16” long x 1-1/4” tall. Good condition for a piece that is well over a century old. Some normal signs of age or use. Some oxidation or tarnishing. Some loss of the silver plate. Some normal light surface marks. As found. Estate fresh.  Please refer to the photos and ask any questions prior to bidding. A very unique souvenir from the California Midwinter Exposition. A great addition to any collection.
