Description
Old original Richard Rohac RR (no Rena Rosenthal!) - Corkscrew "Cat", Model 407
Please understand that shipping is currently a bit delayed due to the pandemic. If you need the item in less than 3-5 weeks, please contact me before you buy for an express shipping quote.
Many describe RR marked objects as "Hagenauer, made for Rena Rosenthal, New York". That is not true. Rohac was working in the Workshop Hagenauer until he founded his own workshop in the 1950s in Vienna.
This piece is a Richard Rohac design and product from the 1950s.
100% old and original. Shown in the Rohac catalogue with the model number "407", please see the picture of the catalogue page.
The item is in excellent condition with only tiny signs of use. The material of the cat is patinated brass or bronze. The screw is made from steel.
Marked at the bottom with "RR" and "Made in Austria". The object measures H100xW70mm. As one inch is 25.4mm, the height is about 4 inches (matchbox shown for size comparison, not included).
Unrestored, 100% old and original!

Shipping
I am located in Vienna, Austria, EU and ship from here. Although all parcels go by airmail, sometimes it can take a bit longer than expected. An average parcel, e.g. to the USA, takes about 10-14 business days to arrive. Sometimes it can also take 3-4 weeks. There are customs and security checks involved that sometimes delay the shipment.
Especially smaller parcels (up to 1kg), get in many cases upgraded at my costs to priority parcel mail (depends on the weight and destination). Still there is no guaranteed shipping time.
Carriers I use are the Austrian Post and sometimes smaller carriers like Hermes and GLS. In your country the parcels will be delivered with a local carrier (e.g. USPS in the USA).
