As you see from the pictures there is a discrepancy on the size. The waist band, the 27 is circled. The inside of the jeans the 28 is circled.

The dimensions with the jeans measuring the front of the waist from left to right 15”

The dimensions with the jeans measuring from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the jeans is 36”
