Grow on in frost free conditions. Acclimatise to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before planting out into their final flowering position, 30cm (12") apart.
Overwinter October sown plants in cooler conditions such as a cold frame before planting out in spring, when the ground has warmed, 23-30cm (9-12") apart. Pinch out growing point once the second pair of leaves has opened. Water freely in dry weather. Remove faded flowers regularly to encourage more blooms. Caution: Seeds are harmful if eaten.
