A sterling silver band ring designed by Kaj Franck and made by Kalevala Koru, Finland in 2006.  The ring has abstract lines of oxidised silver etched into the polished sterling silver.  It is called Kaarna which means bark in Finnish.

Kaj Franck (1911 - 1989) was one of the leading figures and artists in Finnish design.  His design philosophy was to trim out everything unnecessary and extra, producing pure and streamlined pieces of jewellery.

The ring is in excellent condition.

The ring is fully hallmarked KK for Kalevala Koru, 925 for sterling silver and E9 for the year 2006.

It also has an inscription on the inside.
