Large 18.45 CTS natural kunzite gemstone originating from Afghanistan. This measures approximately 19.3 x 11.8 x 10.9 mm and is cut onto an oval shape.

Clarity is extremely good ,would be considered eye clean. There is a small inclusion on one corner we have magnified in the video, otherwise it's free of any flaws. The color is a light lavender approaching a pink. This is considered the most desirable color for a kunzite. This is a naturally earth mined gemstone, and has been heat treated to enhance color.

Kunzite is a relatively new stone on the market. It was discovered in 1902 as a new variety of the spodumene gemstone, and named after George Kunz who discovered it. It has become a trendy and popular stone and loved for its lilac, lavender and purple tones.
