Impressive shimmering 3.60 CTS Natural zircon gemstone originating from Mozambique. This measures approximately 9 x 7 x 5 mm. We have not rounded those measurements this gem seems to have precise measurements.

The coloring is a rich gold tone with an excellent luster. The clarity of the stone is excellent and no flaws or inclusions are apparent. This can be considered flawless or near flawless clarity.

This is a naturally earth mined gemstone and not to be confused with cubic zirconia, which is a man made diamond imitation. The two names are often confused. Zircon is actually the oldest mineral on earth and became quite popular for jewlery in the Victorian era. The name zircon derives from a Persian word "zargun" meaning gold colored, despite the fact it is available in an assortment of colors.
