WLTR 690 Hotel Magee Bloomsburg PA Farm Fact Folder Circa 1947 Walt Lewis

 Here is a vintage advertising folder for WLTR entitled FARM FACT FOLDER, Hotel Magee Bloomsburg PA. This historic town sits along Rt 11 between Harrisburg & Scranton.  From what I have researched, a 1000 watt day time radio station WLTR (690 on the dial) began operating in 1947. WLTR's studios were on the property of Harry L Magee. . It didn't last long with those call letters going away in 1951. The station had a feature THE FARM HOURvw/ Walt Lweis being listed as Farm Director. This advertising piece is on heavy stock and is one folded piece. Measures about 4"x7" when folded. A word about shipping: shipping involves a lot more than postage or UPS charges. We have labels, boxes, packing materials and a "longer than most" trip to the Post Office or UPS. We are very rural and the post office and UPS will not pick up our packages. So we have 10 miles every shipping day and if a buyer pays, we ship IMMEDIATELY, even if their package is the ONLY one to be shipped. We do not over charge for shipping, but sometimes if you are a lot closer than we estimated your shipping expense may be less. Please ask if you think the shipping shown in the auction is too much based on your location, and we will give you an individualized quote. If you live close by you can even pick up!
