Here we up for sale an ORIGINAL 1839 address as given to The New England Society on December 23, 1839 by Robert C. Winthrop. First published in Boston by Perkins & Marvin and in New York City by Gould, Newman, & Saxton in the year 1840. Beginning in 1558, this 60-page booklet gives a fascinating account of why the English left England for the New World and also gives a look at Plymouth Rock and the families who started this great country (please see pics). The Winthrop family was very involved in New York City with many famous family members. This is string bound and it has a newer reinforcement to the spline. There is a small chip at the base of the front page, but the rest is in very good shape. This 180+ year old piece is in VERY GOOD overall condition. FREE S & H. Thanks for viewing.......Triple K
