1973 ideal make and show slides with quik view projector. Item is complete with projector, slides , transfer pages and instructions. I'm sure the drying sponge has disintegrated over time and is long gone. You can use any sponge or rag to dry the slides in the transfer process. On the whole item is in good played with condition. A couple slides have been removed from the slide maker sheet. However these slides have been mounted on slide frames. Therefore all slides are accounted for in the set. Battery compartment is clean. I have also tested the basic operation of the projector and it works as expected including 4 D cell batteries (not included ), light ,focus ring and manual slide changer. The battery retainer piece is a little finicky, but must be in place to secure the batteries and provide power to the projector's light. The box is in good condition with some creases, staining, dirt and general wear including a little scribbling on the top box flap. Top flap also shows some compression toward the center. See pictures for more details.
Note: although I tested the set and components that came with it, I doubt that any slides from this kit can be made at this point. Let's face it the transfer kit is 45 years old therefore you can use the kit to make your own slides from your own pictures. Being sold strictly "as-is "as a collectible.
