Ideal for use as a Phosphate Reactor and can be used for a multitude of filter media, such as K1, carbon, bio pellets, chaeto or as a fluidised sand filter.

When using with K1 media, please send a covering email about this and I'll modify the reactor with inlet and outlets as seen in photo 3 and 4.

If the reactor is to be used as an algae reactor... with chaeto, removal of the sponges may be preferred. The chaeto can be tied to the media trays, to keep it in place. Lighting wise for the algae, l would aim at 3m length of 5050 Waterproof Leds, which should give you around 42w. Either a full daylight or a Red and Blue spectrum lighting will be fine.

Algae Capacity: 10 litres. Giving roughly 500gals/ 2400l of filtration.

Comes with PVC Ball Valve, Unions for ease of fitting and dismantling of pipework... and 2 media sponges.
