Benefits of Cinnamon bark with shrimps

Cinnamon supplies the water with essential oils and tannin (tanic acid) which will support the well being of shrimps.They become a natural shelter for new born or moulting shrimps.

They make for a decorative shelter in your shrimp tank and it gives a nice reddish brown color when added to your tank.

How to use cinnamon in your aquarium

Add to boiling water for approximately 10-15 mins. Place in the desired location in your tank.

Recommended Dosage:

2 to 3 inch peice per 30-40 litres, if in doubt add in smaller quantities. Will last for approximately a month after which it can be replaced or left in for decoration.

Package:

40g packet. Approx 6 to 8 inches long each peice. One may be smaller to achieve correct weight.

The Indian Almond Bark can be placed directly into the tank or put into the filtration system. This will tan the water slightly (to a clear amber) and provide a very natural stream-bottom look to your aquarium.
