This is a NOS (new old stock) Canon TTL Hot Shoe Adapter 3 Canon catalog number 2438A001. It is brand new having never been sold to an end user. It ships in it’s original box with instruction sheet. The unit requires a single CR2025 3v button cell battery. This item was acquired in the buy-out of a bankrupt camera dealer. Their loss is your gain.
The Canon TTL Hot Shoe Adapter 3 permits TTL multiple off-camera flash photography. The adapter requires a combination of the following:
- EOS Connecting Cord 300 (# 2388A001) or
- Connecting Cord 60 (# 2387A001) and
- Off-Camera Shoe Adapter OA-2 (# 2447A001) or
- TTL Distributor (# 2431A001)
Placed in EOS camera's accessory shoe, the Canon TTL Hot Shoe Adapter 3 controls up to 4 off-camera Speedlites.
Note: Provides standard TTL or manual flash control. Not E-TTL compatible.
NOTE: Not compatible with EOS digital SLR cameras.
