DESCRIPTION:

 

This large and attractive Spanish style hair comb is made from celluloid faux tortoiseshell. It dates from the Art Deco period when such exaggerated ornaments enjoyed a new lease of life in mainstream fashion.

 

The comb has a very high oval shaped heading with a classic design of lacy scrollwork.
