DESCRIPTION
Written by William Parnell, though his authorship is unstated here, the work bears the full title of Julietta, Or The Triumph of Mental Acquirements over Personal Defects.
Contains several bookstamps from Selbourne Library and the bookplate of one Thomas France.
Direct from the library of the late Hugh Selbourne MD (1906-1973) a noted book collector and diarist.
CONDITION
In calf binding with gilt detailing. Externally smart, there is some minor wear to the extremities and joints, with some markings to boards and strain to hinges. Internally, the pages are firmly bound and are generally bright and clean throughout, aside from some light spotting and offsetting to the pastedowns, and several inkstamps.
