| MY MOVIE
POSTER GRADING SYSTEM |
|
| I try
to be fair and honest in my grading, and make every attempt to mention
significant tears, excess creasing, etc.
Older movie posters were typically issued folded; unless I specify
"rolled" they are folded, as found. Creases, occasional pinholes at corners, stress and wear along folds, etc. are
typical. Sometimes I find that a
poster falls between two grades, in which case I will list it with a
two-grade scale. |
|
| FINE:a nice copy, flat with minor creases; may have some stress at
folds, but no prominent defects. |
|
| VERY
GOOD: most of the posters I list fall into this grade. A used poster with some overall wear. |
|
| GOOD:as found, complete unless noted; may have excess fold wear, etc. |
|
| FAIR:rough, with many defects including tears. Small missing pieces,
etc. |
|
| POOR: a pretty trashed poster; almost any and every damage may be
present. |
