It is our aim to continue to be a "sustainable" manufacturer avoiding the use of man-made materials wherever possible such as plastics, resins or metal in an attempt to reduce our Carbon Footprint and to protect our environment for generations to come. Our models are "works of art" and not to be confused with mass made plastic kits or diecast (die cast) look-alikes. We are proud Filipino's exporting to all parts of the globe and creating employment opportunities in an impoverished part of our country.
100% handmade models naturally come at a higher price than off the shelf, plastic or diecast (die cast) models but it may interest you to know that an average regular size fixed wing or helicopter model takes on average a total of 26 dedicated Man Hours of work to produce. During this time the model transitions through over 40 different manufacturing stages and processes. The 26 hours are not consecutive and require in-between many days (and in some cases weeks) of drying and curing time as they pass from one department to another making the overall production time from an outsiders point of view appear rather lengthy. Given these facts the time period we quote for production alone is very standard for our type of industry and among our close competitors. If you are interested in what goes into making these models, there follows a summary process schedule and video. The fully assembled model comes with a stained solid mahogany (or mahogany with steel arm) stand and is ready to display on your desk, bookcase or wherever you desire. The photographs you see have not been manipulated or digitally edited - they are exactly as the model looks in real life, but unfortunately even digital photography cannot do full justice to the look and feel of the model once you receive it!

We are able do this because of the direct manufacturing and selling basis of our business - models direct from the factory and not from an intermediary or trading / marketing company. All models are shipped internationally through FedEx, UPS or DHL Express Courier (Door to Door worldwide within about 3 business days). Fully traceable and insured against damage or loss).

In the vast expanse of Canada’s Arctic regions, where extreme weather conditions and remote locations present unique challenges, reliable air transportation is not just a convenience but a lifeline for communities. Among the aircraft navigating these skies, the Boeing 737-200 holds a special place, particularly in the fleet of Air Inuit, a vital carrier serving Northern Canada. Let’s delve into the important features of the Boeing 737-200 and understand why it’s a crucial asset for Air Inuit and the communities it serves.
The Boeing 737-200 is a classic twin-engine, narrow-body aircraft known for its ruggedness and reliability, qualities essential for operations in the Arctic’s harsh environments. Air Inuit, founded in 1978 to provide essential air services to the Inuit communities of Northern Quebec, recognized the suitability of the 737-200 for its operations early on.
1. Robust Design: The 737-200 is renowned for its robust construction, making it well-suited for operations in remote areas with limited infrastructure. Its sturdy airframe and reliable Pratt & Whitney JT8D engines ensure consistent performance, even in extreme cold weather conditions.
2. Short Field Performance: One of the most critical features for airlines operating in the North is short takeoff and landing (STOL) capability. The 737-200 excels in this aspect, allowing it to operate from relatively short and unpaved runways commonly found in Northern communities, facilitating essential connections where larger aircraft cannot venture.
3. Cargo Versatility: In addition to passenger transport, the Boeing 737-200 can be quickly converted to carry cargo, essential for transporting supplies, groceries, medical equipment, and other necessities to remote communities where road access is limited or non-existent. Air Inuit’s fleet of 737-200s plays a pivotal role in maintaining supply chains to these isolated regions.
4. Proven Reliability: With a track record spanning decades, the Boeing 737-200 has proven its reliability and durability in demanding operating environments worldwide. Air Inuit’s meticulous maintenance practices ensure that their fleet of 737-200s remains airworthy and dependable, providing peace of mind to passengers and cargo customers alike.
5. Passenger Comfort: Despite its utilitarian design, Air Inuit has configured its Boeing 737-200s to prioritize passenger comfort. With spacious seating and modern amenities, including onboard lavatories and overhead storage bins, passengers experience a comfortable journey, even on longer routes across the North.
For many remote communities in Northern Canada, air travel is not just a convenience but a necessity. Air Inuit’s Boeing 737-200 fleet plays a crucial role in connecting these communities to essential services such as healthcare, education, and commerce. Whether it’s transporting medical teams to remote clinics, delivering fresh produce to isolated villages, or facilitating travel for residents to urban centers, the 737-200 is an indispensable tool for maintaining the social and economic fabric of the North.
As Air Inuit continues to modernize its fleet with newer aircraft models, the Boeing 737-200 remains a cornerstone of its operations. Its versatility, reliability, and capability to operate in challenging environments ensure that it will continue to serve Northern communities for years to come. While newer aircraft may offer advancements in efficiency and technology, the enduring legacy of the Boeing 737-200 in the Arctic skies is a testament to its unmatched performance and unwavering reliability.
In conclusion, the Boeing 737-200 holds a special place in the aviation landscape of Northern Canada, particularly within the operations of Air Inuit. Its robust design, short field performance, cargo versatility, proven reliability, and commitment to passenger comfort make it an indispensable asset for serving remote communities where air travel is a lifeline. As Air Inuit and other carriers navigate the evolving demands of air transportation in the North, the Boeing 737-200 stands tall as a symbol of resilience and reliability in the face of adversity.
