Antique/Vintage Chinese ceramic teapot, High fire stoneware stamped with makers mark.

This beautiful little teapot is a hand thrown, hand trimmed piece. The clay body is a buff high fired vitreous stoneware. This piece is decorated with skillfully applied handle and spout. The spout and handle are sculpted to look like bent bamboo, with bamboo leafs applied to one side of the body of the pot.
The handle, spot and lid are colored with a deep blue semi matte glaze.
This teapot looks to be created in the "Yixing" style.

The beautifully trimmed, footed bottom of the teapot is impressed with the makers chop mark.
The inside of the equally beautifully trimmed lid is also stamped with two chop marks
At the time of this listing, I have not been able to Identify the makers stamp.

This little teapot weighs approximately 5.8 ounces. It is approximately 5 1/4 inches from the tip of the spout to the outside edge of the handle. The body of the teapot is approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter. The height  of this teapot is approximately 3 inches tall.

It will make a very attractive addition to any collection.
