Soviet Patriotic Badge with Portrait of Lenin on a Red Flag.

This is GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL item from the Soviet era, not a post-Soviet reissue or modern replica! Pins of this kind were often worn by the party faithful during May Day and October Revolution anniversary parades. The design mimics the style of Supreme Soviet membership badges and other similar badges worn by the Soviet VIPs.

The pin is of fairly nice quality – at least for an item intended for the masses as opposed to party elite. It is made in anodized aluminum with red enamel, and measures approx. 20.5 mm tall, 33.5 mm wide. There is a Soviet era factory logo on the reverse. Interestingly, this badge does not show a retail price on the back – unlike majority of pins of similar nature that could be purchased in a Soyuzpechat kiosk. This leads us to believe that it was officially issued rather than privately purchased.

The badge is in EXCELLENT unused condition, shows only storage age. The pin attachment is intact and fully functional.
