Vintage Parakeet Lovebirds Planter 5.5" Tall
This is a fun little planter with great colors. It is a little pair of lovebirds sitting on top of some wooden branches
The planter is unmarked, and stands about 5.5" tall. There is a little planter section in the back that has a little soiling on the inside, but is pretty clean overall. The only other issue is a chip at the end of the tail of one of the birds. I have an image of this area included. It is tough to notice unless you look closely.
The only colors on the planter are on the two birds. They have red, yellow, blue and green. There is no color definition to the face, but the shape of the eyes and beaks can be seen.
I have seen others of this design listed as Morton Pottery, but there are no makings, so I can't be sure. Regardless, it is a nice piece.
If you are a collector, make sure you take a look. Perhaps you have a bird theme collection this would make a nice addition. Or maybe you know someone who had a connection to lovebirds, give this a shot.
