DO NOT ASSUME YOUR MOTOR IS BAD BEFORE TESTING IT!! YOU COULD HAVE A WORN OR BROKEN PLASTIC GEAR ON THE SEAT TRACK SHAFT, A BAD SWITCH OR EVEN BAD WIRING . 

 Remove the 3 long screws holding the motor in place and disconnect the electrical connector and gently pull the motor straight out. You can then inspect the plastic gear which is mounted on the seat track itself for signs of damage or breakage. If the gear looks  good then reconnect the electrical connector and push your seat switch forward and backward to see if the motor turns without it's being connected to the seat in anyway. If the motor doesn't turn you still could have a bad seat switch so apply power directly to the two prongs on the motor. The easiest way to do this is two attach two wires to the battery terminals and test the motor out directly. If the motor doesn't turn at that point you will know 100% that you have a bad motor and not bad wiring or a bad switch.
