They are very reliable - within 1% accuracy - with a proven track record. Combro actually check the accuracy of each unit at the factory.
If you are tuning your rifle this is an essential piece of kit to keep yourself within legal power limits.
Ideal for testing velocities of pellets to get optimum performance from your kit. Very handy if using in conjunction with ballistics software such as Blueshot and Hawkes free app.
The unit comes with batteries (standard button watch type) but these are used for by Combro to test the unit. We highly recommend buying extra batteries as we cannot guarantee how long they will last.

Overall - how it works
Once a pellet has been detected by the first sensor the cb625 starts its timer going and waits for the second sensor to report. The counts are made at four millionth a second as the pellet travels the 2.346 inches.
The second sensor sees the pellet and calculates the velocity in feet or meters per second. It then uses the pellet weight to calculate the actual power and then displays one of them. Press the FPS button for speed and PDS button for power.
The cb625 remembers which you selected last and returns to that display after a new shot is fired. If the power is below the power set as the legal limit the display shows LEGAL. Otherwise it shows FAC.

You can change the display to show in turn the average, the minimum and finally the maximum of the value selected.

Accurate to within 1% but can be fine tuned to match another chronoscope
Set key variables -
- Pellet weight: As power depends on weight the chronoscope needs to know the weight in grains of the pellet.
- Imperial or Metric - Choose mode for speeds in feet per second, weights in grains and power in foot pounds or Metric for meters per second, weights in grams and power in Joules.
- Set legal limit if required, e.g., UK limit for rifles is 12.0 ft-lbs.

- At this point not all areas integrate with Royal Mail tracking so it may not be possible to location track once it arrives in your area.
If it does not arrive then can be resent or refunded after 1 month.
