A 5" tall rectangular-shaped clear antique L. D. MIX OIL and NAPHTA Co bottle.  This is an early hand Blown Into Mold bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating it back to the 1800's, well over ONE CENTURY OLD, a good 100 years old + PLUS.

• Bottle embossed:  "FAVORITE / THE L. D. MIX / OIL & NAPHTA CO. / CLEVELAND O." 
  

• Condition:   Bottle is in good condition with some content haze, otherwise NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.  (See photos for overall condition).

• Age: A hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. late 1800's.

We are selling off a long time collection of antique patent (commonly referred to as 'quack') medicine bottles, some of these are ones that we've never heard of before, this is one of them.  In looking up this bottle we find nothing about it except that Naphta was a petroleum product.  Oil and Naphta?  Whatever it was it must not of worked too well judging how rare the bottle is as this is the only one of these bottle that we've ever seen.  Nnot just us, but evidently everyone else as we could find no mention of it or its contents anywhere, check it out!
