This is an antique brown and white postcard of Meester Cornelis (= Jatinegara),Batavia (= Jakarta), Java, Indonesia. It shows a beautiful lively view of Salemba with the Railway Viaduct. This postcard was published by Visser & Co. Weltevreden in the 1920s. So it is about one HUNDRED years OLD. This postcard was used. The publisher’s code is c 22289. However a crease on top right corner and slight cornerwear they do not affect the picture (see scan) and it is still a great collectable. Condition: good.
