A superb-sounding, compact integrated amplifier from Monitor Audio, combining high-quality Class AB amplification with built-in wireless music streaming and a high-resolution DAC.
The A100 is a seriously capable piece of hi-fi equipment. Originally retailing at around £400, it was widely praised by hi-fi reviewers for its outstanding sound quality, stylish design and impressive performance for such a compact amplifier.
Condition: Excellent working order.
Exceptional sound quality
The A100 delivers a genuine hi-fi listening experience, with a refined, detailed and natural sound that belies its compact dimensions.
Its Class AB amplifier produces a healthy 50 watts per channel, giving it the power and control to drive a wide range of quality bookshelf and standmount loudspeakers. Reviews have praised its clarity, smooth presentation, musicality and ability to deliver an impressively spacious soundstage.
This is not just a wireless music gadget – it is a proper stereo amplifier with a high-quality DAC and amplification stage at its heart.
Wireless music streaming – ideal for Apple AirPlay
One of the A100’s greatest strengths is its built-in Apple AirPlay support. Simply stream music wirelessly from a compatible iPhone, iPad or Mac, without needing to connect your device physically to the amplifier.
AirPlay makes it particularly convenient for everyday listening, whether you are streaming your music library or listening to compatible music services. It provides high-quality digital audio without the need for Bluetooth.
For those wanting to explore high-resolution audio, the A100 also supports 24-bit/192kHz music playback via compatible DLNA/UPnP network streaming. This allows compatible high-resolution FLAC and other supported music files to be streamed from a computer or network music server.
In short, you get the convenience of wireless streaming alongside the ability to enjoy high-resolution music through a proper hi-fi amplifier.
