The heart brings cinnamon, oak and tonka bean. The oak picks up the cognac and runs with it — barrel-aged and woody — while the cinnamon adds spice and the tonka starts the sweetness.

The base is praliné, vanilla and sandalwood. Nutty, creamy and rich, with sandalwood keeping it from becoming pure dessert.

Boozy on top, spiced and woody through the middle, sweet praline underneath. A proper cold-weather gourmand with some weight behind it.
