Brake Bleeding Instructions

Preparation:

1.Prepare new brake fluid (Do not reuse old fluid), waste oil bottle (or transparent container), and wrench.

2.Check brake fluid reservoir level – during bleeding, fluid level must never drop below the minimum mark.

Tip: During bleeding, if the fluid runs dry, air enters master cylinder - ruin bleeding and possibly damage it.

Tool Setup:

3.Attach hose to bleed screw, one end of a clear hose to the caliper’s bleed screw (bleed nipple).

Note: Clean area around bleed screw before starting to prevent dirt entering system.

4. Tighten with a hose clamp, ensure an airtight seal.

5. Install the one-way valve on the hose – arrow on valve must point away from caliper (toward collection bottle).

Note: Each link can be secured with a hose clamp.

Tip: Valve has an arrow - reverse installation will cause brake failure.

Bleeding Process:

6.Loosen bleed screw about 1/4–1/2 turn.

7.Squeeze-release brake lever repeatedly, until no bubbles, fluid is clean and bright.

Tip: Before releasing the lever each time, either tighten the bleed screw or ensure the one-way valve has closed (to prevent sucking in air).

8.Tighten bleed screw (moderate torque).

9.Remove hose, clean any spilled fluid around bleed screw.

10.Check reservoir level , top up brake fluid to specified mark.

Prevent the backflow of air

During the brake bleed process, air/fluid may be sucked back into the braking system,which may lead to a loss of braking performance.

1 Set Brake Bleed Hose Include:

• 1 transparent bleeder hose (50cm in length)
• 1 enhanced aluminum check valve
• 3 hose clamps (1 large + 2 small)

Prepare the new oil to be changed, open the oil drain dust cap, connect the oil drain hose, and attach the other end to the oil tank.

1.Open the brake bleed connector and connect the hose.

2.Start pressing the brake lever slowly.

3.Check until all the bubbles have been expelled.

4.Make sure the liquid level in the main cylinder reservoir is not too low.
