For sale is a vintage Hornby R.053 OO Gauge Class 3F 0-6-0T "Jinty" tank locomotive in British Railways black livery, running number 47556.
Cosmetic Condition:
The locomotive is in very good, visually complete cosmetic condition. The bodywork is clean with crisp lettering and early BR crests. Front and rear buffers, buffer beams, and tension-lock couplings are all fully intact. The valve gear and connecting rods are straight and intact. There is minor dust in the crevices and light, typical tarnish on the wheels consistent with its age.
Box & Packaging:
Includes the original Hornby red window box and the inner white polystyrene protective tray. The inner tray is very clean and intact. The outer cardboard sleeve shows some typical shelf/edge wear and a small tear/crease near the end-flap hinge (please see photos for exact condition).
