Large Vintage Perfume Collection – Bottles, Mirrors & Vanity Accessories – SEK 8900
An extensive collection of vintage fragrance bottles from Lanvin, Christian Dior, Jean Patou, Guerlain, Bourjois, Dralle and 4711, together with decorative atomizers, presentation boxes, mirrors, powder compacts and other vanity accessories.
The collection was previously displayed in a museum. It includes bottles containing liquid and empty collectible bottles in a wide variety of shapes and designs.
Sold as one complete collection for a fixed price of SEK 8,900. No offers, no auction and no individual sales.
Bottles containing liquid and packaged items – not opened by the current owner
I have not opened these items since receiving them. However, I cannot confirm whether they were opened or refilled before they came into my possession, or whether their contents are original. Please refer to the photographs for visible fill levels.
Some bottles may be display bottles, also known as factices, containing decorative liquid rather than fragrance. The contents and scents have not been tested. Bottles are therefore not described as factory-sealed or guaranteed never opened.
Lanvin – Eau Arpège, Paris. Tall, narrow clear glass bottle containing yellow liquid, with a black label and black cap featuring a gold-coloured line and the Lanvin motif. Approximately 19.5 cm high.
Lanvin – Arpège, Paris. Large, wide glass bottle with a blue label, gold-coloured neck and black cap featuring the Lanvin motif. Approximately 19.5 cm high × 10 cm wide × 10 cm deep. It has not been established whether this is a display bottle.
Lanvin – Arpège. Black spherical bottle with a gold-coloured mother-and-child motif, fluted gold-coloured cap and cord around the neck.
Jean Patou – Patou Pour Homme, Paris. Wide, low glass bottle containing yellow liquid, with a large black cap and metallic top. The exact product type and concentration have not been verified.
Christian Dior – Jules, Eau de Toilette. Dark bottle with a rounded black cap and light-coloured lettering.
Christian Dior – Dioressence. Slender bottle with a twisted glass design, greenish contents and a tall, ribbed silver-coloured cap marked Christian Dior.
4711 – Eau de Cologne / Kölnisch Wasser. Tall glass bottle with a turquoise-and-gold label, gold-coloured cap and red branding strip extending over the closure.
4711 – Tosca, Eau de Cologne. Flattened, rounded glass bottle with a turquoise-and-gold label and branding strip over the cap.
My Garden – Eau de Cologne Classic, Seger. Tall, narrow glass bottle with a black cap and an illustrated cream-coloured label.
Bourjois – Soir de Paris. Cobalt-blue bottle with a small gold-coloured label and a pointed, fluted gold-coloured cap.
Arina – Parfum. Small bottle containing amber-coloured liquid, presented in a gold-coloured window box. The manufacturer has not been securely identified.
Lenthéric – Miracle. Black-and-white presentation case with gold-coloured details, “Miracle” lettering and a spiral-shaped clasp. The case shows visible wear. Its contents are not visible in the photographs of the closed case.
Dralle – Lilas. Large clear glass bottle containing pink liquid, with a black cap and a geometric silver-and-purple label.
Tabac – After Shave Exclusive. Rectangular glass bottle containing yellowish liquid, with a reddish-brown cap. The label states “Made in Sweden,” approximately 150 ml, and No. 2821.
Coty – L’Aimant, Parfum Mist. Slender white-and-pink decorated container with a gold-coloured top, presented in an illustrated pink window box.
Berner – RAI, Antiseptic Deodorant Eau de Cologne – two bottles. Dark green bottles with red caps and gold-coloured lettering.
Dr. Dralle’s – Birken-Haarwasser mit Fett. Hair tonic in a clear glass bottle with a black cap and a yellow-green-and-black label featuring a birch tree, marked Georg Dralle, Hamburg.
Watzins – Lozein Hair Tonic. Glass bottle with a black cap and black label, accompanied by its worn cardboard box.
Small bottle with a blue cap and blue label. Clear glass bottle with ribbed sides and yellowish contents. The name is not sufficiently legible for reliable identification.
Dralle – Ylang. Dark patterned presentation case with a corner label and two gold-coloured tassels. The case is shown closed; its contents have not been inspected.
Mirrors and vanity accessories
Hand mirror with a floral back. Round mirror with a gold-coloured frame and a long, ribbed handle. The reverse has a floral textile covering.
Round powder compact with mirror. Gold-coloured finish with white-and-gold scroll decoration on the lid. The interior shows wear and residue.
Oval powder compact with mirror. Gold-coloured finish with elaborate floral and leaf decoration. Powder residue remains inside. The exterior has dark marks and wear.
Decorative footed box. Silver-coloured box with raised decoration, pierced sides and a red interior lining. The metal and manufacturer have not been identified.
Colgate & Co – Shaving Stick, New York, U.S.A. Cylindrical metal container with a lid and embossed lettering. Visible patina and surface wear. Contents have not been inspected.
MUM. Small, round, light-coloured container with red lettering and wreath decoration. Contents have not been inspected.
Large decorative atomizer bottle in dark faceted glass. With a gold-coloured fitting, hose and heavily frayed textile component/tassel. Operation has not been tested.
The powder compacts are photographed both open and closed, and the hand mirror is shown from both sides. These photographs show the same items, not additional examples.
Empty perfume, eau de cologne and hair tonic bottles
The following are offered as empty collectible bottles, as stated by the seller. They contain no usable product. Staining, deposits and traces of old contents may remain.
Watzins – Portugal Hair Tonic, “Fet.” Clear glass bottle with a white cap and cream-coloured label, marked Henrik Gahns Aktiebolag, Upsala.
Cheramy – Ciel Bleu, Eau de Cologne, Paris–France. Tall glass bottle with fan-like decoration along the sides, a narrow coloured label and a cork closure.
Sophie Nerval – Renommée, Eau de Parfum. Angular glass bottle with a pink label and an older gold-coloured pump fitting.
Guerlain – Après l’Ondée. Small fluted glass bottle with a decorative label and a faceted clear glass stopper.
Bris – For Men, After Shave. Wide glass bottle with moulded decoration, a black cap and a red-and-blue label.
Blue Bell. Frosted glass bottle with a ribbed silver-coloured cap and pale decoration/lettering.
4711 – Eau de Cologne. Large glass bottle with a turquoise-and-gold label and a red-and-gold-coloured cap.
4711 – atomizer bottle. Shaped clear glass bottle with a label, metal fitting, curved tube and fabric-covered squeeze bulb. Operation has not been tested.
Mury – Le Narcisse Bleu. Small textured glass bottle with a blue stopper and dark label, positioned at the front right in one of the group photographs.
Three rectangular eau de cologne bottles with black stoppers. Two appear together in one group photograph, with another in a separate group photograph. They have similar decorative labels; the exact manufacturer is not reliably legible.
Small clear bottle with a purple cap. Dark, diagonally positioned label with script lettering. The name is not reliably legible.
Clear bottle with a dark blue cap. Red main label surrounded by blue-and-white decoration. The name has not been securely identified.
Large, flat decorative clear glass bottle. Floral glass decoration and a blue floral label. No stopper is visible in the photograph.
Frosted glass bottle with a silver-coloured cap and faded lettering. Parts of the wording are difficult to read. This is a separate bottle from the Blue Bell bottle listed above.
Angular glass bottle with a gold-coloured cap and an aged yellow-brown label. The lettering is too unclear for reliable identification.
Condition and included items
Condition varies throughout the collection. Scratches, dust, deposits, discolouration, label wear, metal patina and damage to packaging are present. Some textile components are heavily worn. Pumps, atomizers and other mechanisms have not been tested.
Exact age, manufacturing dates, capacities and materials are stated only where known or legible. The originality and condition of the contents, including fragrance quality, are not guaranteed.
The listed items and their photographed packaging and accessories are included. Close-up photographs show the same objects from different angles and do not indicate additional duplicates. Shelving, computer equipment and other background objects are not included.
