About the V11 (SV15)
The SV15 V11 is the second generation Dyson V11 Model. It is a very powerful excellent vacuum cleaner.
It requires the clip in battery that you can also use with the V11 outsize and the later V15 detect
To use this vacuum you need to purchase a Dyson SV15 / SV16 / SV22 clip in battery and charger. You can either choose genuine Dyson for this or get a cheaper non branded version.
Note if you are upgrading from the V10 or V11 then you can use your old charger. The V10, V11 & V15 share the same charger.
This is the most cost effective way to upgrade your old Dyson Stick Vacuum.
Attachment compatibility
If you own a V7, V8, V10 or V11, the existing powered attachments and stick/pole can be used with this V15 unit, as described in the original listing. This may save you the cost of replacing those accessories.
