This highly collectible mid-century Rego Sport Chronostop mechanical watch is being sold strictly AS-IS for parts, repair, or restoration as it is currently non-running and does not tick or hold a wind. The watch features a beautifully preserved, vibrant cream-colored multi-scale dial with clear red and black tracks, dual registers at 11 and 7 o'clock, and highly reactive radium-style luminous numerals and hands that still glow brightly under light. Internally, the watch is powered by a 1-jewel Swiss Made R. Lapanouse S.A. pin-lever movement that will require some type of service or repair, not sure. Visually, the gold-tone case shows honest vintage wear, heavy brassing, and scratches consistent with its age, while the crystal remains fully intact with typical fine hairline scuffs. Both pushers and the main crown are physically present, making this an excellent project piece or parts source for vintage watch enthusiasts, restoration hobbyists, and collectors.
