The unit powers on, and the status indicators illuminate.
Basic two-way RS-232 communication was successfully tested using a computer:
• The device responded to the “sRN DeviceIdent” query and returned its identification and firmware information.
• Reported identification: LMS10x_FieldEval
• Reported firmware: V1.40-23.08.2011
• The device responded to the “sRN STlms” query with status code 7, indicating measurement mode.
These checks confirm basic serial communication and the reported operating state only. Actual scan data, distance accuracy, detection performance, Ethernet communication, inputs/outputs, and full functionality have not been verified. The unit has not been calibrated by us.
CONDITION AND INCLUDED ITEMS
Used condition with scratches, scuffs, adhesive residue, and hook-and-loop mounting material on the connection housing.
Includes the scanner with its attached connection housing and existing wiring, including the DB9 serial connector and power leads shown in the photos. The wiring appears to be a custom installation rather than a complete factory cable set. Cable strain relief and enclosure sealing have not been verified.
No external power supply, computer, USB-to-RS232 adapter, software, or additional accessories are included.
