attocube FPS3010 Interferometer System Lot
2 Controllers + 4 Optical Sensor Heads
CONDITION: FOR PARTS OR REPAIR / AS-IS
This listing is for the entire lot: two attocube FPS3010 three-axis interferometer controllers, four optical sensor heads, and the accessory box and components shown in the listing photos.
Both controllers power on and communicate with a computer using FPS software. Limited optical output and software response tests were performed. Known performance issues were observed; this lot is NOT being sold as a fully functional or calibrated measurement system.
CONTROLLER IDENTIFICATION
• Unit -01: front label FPS3010-01, rear serial number E 02 0022
• Unit -02: front label FPS3010-02, rear serial number E 01 132
According to version guidance provided by the manufacturer:
• Unit -01 was tested using FPS software V1.7.7.
• Unit -02 was tested using FPS software V1.6.
OPTICAL OUTPUT TEST RESULTS
Measurements were taken through a fiber cable using an EXFO FOT-20A optical power meter set to 1550 nm.
Unit -01:
• Axis 1: approximately 1.12 uW
• Axis 2: approximately 2.44 uW
• Axis 3: approximately 26.3 uW
Unit -02:
• Axis 1: approximately 1.73 uW
• Axis 2: approximately 3.30 uW
• Axis 3: approximately 4.95 uW
SOFTWARE TEST OBSERVATIONS
Axis 3 on each controller produced a software signal response, including a green Valid indicator and a position trace. Error indicators were also observed during testing.
Axes 1 and 2 on both controllers did not produce a valid measurement response during the latest tests, although optical output was detected on all six axes.
These observations do not establish normal operation or measurement accuracy. The four optical sensor heads have not each been independently verified as fully functional.
TEST LIMITATIONS / KNOWN ISSUES
• Optical power readings varied with fiber cable and connector seating.
• The optical power meter’s calibration status is unknown.
• Listed readings are approximate test observations, not certified output specifications.
• Stable operation, displacement accuracy, repeatability, and calibration have not been verified.
• Full functionality of the controllers, optical heads, and accessories has not been verified.
• The cause of the observed issues has not been determined.
• Repair, servicing, alignment, or additional components may be required.
