A very good Royal Mail (RM) FDC, unsealed with insert card!

Postage costs
-------------------

Most of my lots finish in the evening and I endeavour to send invoices out the same day. For those people that pay when an auction finishes I process and pack the order same day (often refunding postage costs if more than one item). By process I men to pack and add postage, I then leave feedback and indicate that lot(s) have been posted, but infact I will not get to the Post Office till the next day!

USA Buyers please note Royal Mail continue to tinker with the postage rates USA, hence the higher price! The postage includes 50p tariff charge (applied by Royal Mail ) - included in postage price.

European buyers please be aware there will be a customs charge of £3.55 - this will hopefully avoid any further custom charges in your own country - included in postage price.

I use Royal Mail to send all my items, see their website for their price guide.

All my mail sent is now done by weight!  35p is added to invoice to cover packing (envelope / see through bag / labels etc)

Initial prices are for items upto 100g in weight, for combined lots please wait as will weigh combined lots and determine the best price going forward within the invoice!

Lots costing less than £20 will be sent standard class
Between £20 and £50 lots will be sent Tracked, additional cost will be added to invoice.
Greater than £50 lots will be sent Special Delivery (UK) and Tracked and Signed elsewhere, additional cost will be added to invoice.

I always obtain a certificate of posting if sent as Standard Class.

If I do end up invoicing too much and it costs less to post I will refund the difference (less packaging costs of 35p) after I have posted the items.

I make no money from postage costs, with eBay taking approximately 17% of all sales including the postage costs!

This is something I disagree with but understand why eBay do this, as before postage costs were introduced by eBay, certain sellers were charging exorbitant postage costs and making more money for an item!

For example, in my case, simple 2nd class postage costs  £0.91, my packaging costs £0.35 - total £1.26 - at the moment I only charge £1.25.
eBay then takes approximately 17%, i.e. £0.22 of this amount!

I hope this all makes sense!
